There are many recipes and methods to clean the windows. Our preference is soapy water and a squeegee, according to the principle we love: a single action, fast and final.
Do not do your windows on a sunny day. Indeed, the water will evaporate quickly and you will have gray streaks.
Start by dusting the windows and woodwork.
Prepare your washing solution: 1cuiller tablespoon of dishwashing liquid in a bucket of water. If she removes so unsatisfactory dirt from your windows, try an acid solution and replace the dishwashing liquid with 1 / 4 glass mustard white vinegar to a bucket of water. The water is cold, not hot, because hot water will evaporate before you had time to pass the squeegee.




Gather some clean rags, lint-free cloth, sponge and your squeegee.
Now learn to use the squeegee as a professional:
Start with the interior.

Place the bucket of wash solution to the left of your window, place a cloth over your right shoulder (left for left-handed), fold another cloth and place it just below the bottom right corner of the glass to be cleaned for absorb water runoff.

Dip the sponge in the bucket of water, squeeze it and pass it on the glass from top to bottom then put the sponge in the bucket.

Enter the cloth that is on your shoulder and use it to wipe and dry in your window on a strip of 5 cm along the sides and the top edge of the glass, as drawn in blue in the picture.

Now take your squeegee and remember this maxim: my wiper blade is always dry, and my action in a dry area of the glass I always start.

Place your squeegee at the top left of the window, in the area under the context that you and wiped dry, and get by holding the squeegee against the glass, in a firm and steady motion, without tension, and stop at few inches from the bottom to avoid drips dirty water.

Take back your shoulder cloth and wipe the blade of the squeegee to dry.

Place the squeegee again at the top of the window, it covers one fourth of the band that has just been cleaned, and print a downward movement, stopping a few centimetres always lower.

So on, until the last band. Remember to dry the blade between two passages.

Now place the squeegee blade against the left edge of the glass, bottom left on the tape that you have not treated and left wet and move the squeegee horizontally to the right edge. You then finish without water damage, since your last horizontal movement the cloth; you had carefully set in the bottom right of the window, collected all the dirty water.

Now go outside and try again.
